The Quebec-based company Ludik started in 2006 in a tiny apartment in Montérégie. Tired of stacking boxes of jujubes, the young couple quickly decided to rent a small commercial space in downtown Marieville.

They conducted their first commercial exchanges with the orchards and confectioneries of the region… A fishing tackle box modified by hand, as a case of candy samples, François set off to conquer the world of market acquisition, alone, without any sales expertise.

With the aim of revolutionizing the confectionery world with modern and innovative ideas, they decided to create a brand new ideology inspired by the fields of architecture and confectionery. A refined and eco-responsible Quebec concept... And so, in 2013, KandJu was born!

As an importer, manufacturer, and distributor, the Ludik Group served thousands of commercial accounts across the country in 2020 (grocery stores, chocolate shops, confectioneries, bakeries and pastry shops, butcher shops, toy and decoration stores, bookstores, amusement parks, etc.). A true pioneer in the high-volume, artisanal production of candy skewers and cones in Canada, Ludik remains the largest manufacturer in this sector in Canada to this day.
